Hello!
My name is Samuel Lalo. I am an architect at KMDW located in Tokyo, Japan. My background is French/Austrian and have lived and worked a bit everywhere around the world. I have joined our wonderful office a few years back and am proud to be part of our international team of academics and designers working on projects encompassing a full-range of scales and offering a wide diversity of services.
Our areas of expertise include but are not limited to:
Architecture / Urban design / Interior design / Branding / Concept development / Project coordination / Participatory community planning
One of our recent projects was the Bulgaria Pavilion at the 2025 World Expo in Osaka
We also have a second company called Veneer House specialised in post disaster construction with projects in over 10 different countries.
We are always interested in doing projects around the world and on my part to bridge the gap between Japan and Europe. There is so much we learn from our collaborations with clients and designers from around the world and we hope to continue to do so with many more projects.
