Global Switch Data Centre

After winning a limited competition in 2007 for a new flagship building on the Clichy Campus, RBA worked with WSP, Design Box and Capingelec on this data centre, which was successfully delivered in 2011. The façade converses with the urban context and the neighbouring park and speaks to the ventilation that disperses residual heat. RBA also worked on optimising the office space within the existing building. This included substantial works to the entrance, where we worked with Australian artist Chris Fox to create a stunning piece of artwork inspired by the flow of information into and out of a data centre.
