The ARCH-E Project will be presented on the 35th General Assembly of the Cyprus Architects Association.
The ARCH-E Project will be presented on 23 November 2024, during the 35th General Assembly of the Cyprus Architects Association. Cyprus Architects Association is a partner of the ARCH-E Project.
ARCH-E's main objective is to promote high-quality architectural solutions for the built environment by increasing the call for architectural competitions in Europe and overcoming cross-border barriers to the participation of Architects. Lack of information excludes many Architects from participating in the (cross-border) market, and therefore, hinders competition. Small businesses – with an above-average percentage of women and/or young Architects – are particularly affected, which has a negative impact on their professional careers. The promotion of architectural competitions will lead to a better application of the principles of the Davos Declaration on Baukultur and the New European Bauhaus in European design and construction projects and will contribute to addressing the climate challenge and improving the quality of the built environment.
The main objectives of the ARCH-E project are the creation of the "ARCH-E Map", which presents a comparative description of the national architectural tender announcement systems, the ARCH-E glossary with technical terms of architectural tenders and services, and the Architects' Needs Report. Through the ARCH-E platform policy-making information is provided on the results of the project and recommendations are made regarding the internationalization of architectural services, the equal treatment of Architects, the objectives of the Green Deal, and how they can best be achieved at the European level. The ARCH-E Consortium counts over 560,000 Architects across Europe, who benefit from the results of the project.
On Saturday, November 23, 2024, the ARCH-E Project will be presented 35th General Assembly of the Association of Architects of Cyprus.
Join the workshop at Siakolio Educational Center, Nicosia, Cyprus. The event will run in Greek language.
